pop king

of course you know who this is right? well,

Michael Jackson is planning a 30-date world tour to kick off in 2009, a new report claims.

“Michael said he wasn’t doing a Vegas residency but was going on a world tour, taking in 30 cities next year,” a well-placed spy told Britain’s Sun on Wednesday.

“He said he wanted to do it for his kids. He wants them to see what he does, and he wants to take them on the road. He said he was on his way to Los Angeles to finalize the details.”

world tour! can you imagine? his tickets are bloody expensive but regardless of the price, they were all sold out.

i can just imagine him making explosive entrances, always some tricks up his sleeve. singing Thriller and see all fans dancing to his moves. shuffling his feet and do his famous "moonwalk".

Jacko3

that dream of mine (and my mom's) seeing him on stage......well.....sadly it'll never come true.

Singer Michael Jackson dies in Los Angeles aged 50

Michael Jackson, the singer, has died after suffering a suspected heart attack. He was 50.

The Los Angeles coroner, Fred Corral, said that Jackson was pronounced dead after arriving at UCLA Medical Centre in full cardiac arrest. A post mortem examination is likely to take place today.

Paramedics who responded to an emergency call to the singer's home in Los Angeles said that he had stopped breathing by the time they arrived.

Jackson's brother Jermaine told reporters: "My brother, the legendary King of Pop , passed away on Thursday June 25 at 2.26pm.

"We believe he suffered a cardiac arrest at his home, however the cause of his death is unknown until the results of the autopsy are known. The personal physician who was with him at the time attempted to resuscitated him."

A spokesman for the medical centre added: "When he arrived at hospital at approximately 1.14pm a team of doctors including emergency physicians and cardiologists attempted to resuscitate him for a period of more than one hour, they were unsuccessful."

A Los Angeles police spokesman said that police robbery-homicide detectives have been ordered to investigate, which is common in high-profile cases.

Jackson's mother Katherine and sister La Toya had rushed to the singer's bedside at the hospital, while hundreds of tearful fans gathered outside.

Earlier, the singer's father Joe said that he had been told his son was "in a bad way".

Jackson is widely credited with revolutionising pop music with albums including Thriller, Bad and Dangerous but his career was tainted with allegations of child abuse.

He was due to perform a highly anticipated 50-date "farewell" residency at the O2 Arena in Greenwich, south-east London, starting next month. Fears for his health emerged after he postponed the earliest dates, and his aides were forced to deny that he was fighting skin cancer.

Jackson lived as a virtual recluse following his 2005 acquittal on charges including child molestation and kidnap.

While lauded by fans and critics for his infectious pop songs, pioneering dance moves and innovative videos, his increasingly eccentric behaviour earned him the nickname "Wacko Jacko".

He repeatedly denied undergoing cosmetic surgery, despite very visible changes to his face and skin tone, and was criticised for forcing his three children to wear veils whenever they were in public.

Last night leading figures in the entertainment industry expressed their shock at news of his sudden death, which was broken on the US celebrity website TMZ.

Quincy Jones, the music producer who worked with Jackson on Thriller, said: "I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news."

Paying tribute to the singer's "talent, grace, professionalism and dedication", he added: "I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him."

Jackson's friend, the illusionist Uri Geller, said there had been no indication that the singer was in a frail condition. "I really have no words. He was a young and terribly fit man and he was getting ready for performances in England. He was just fine, the last I heard."

There was speculation that the pressure of his upcoming London dates may have been too much for him. Jackson last toured 12 years ago.

AEG Live, which organised the O2 concerts, said Jackson had passed a lengthy physical exam in early 2009.

But Max Clifford, the publicist and friend of Jackson, said: "You wonder if the strain of getting fit for this major tour proved too much. In recent pictures he looked anything but healthy. He was always someone who seemed to find it difficult to cope with fame."

Born in 1958, Jackson made his musical debut with four of his older brothers in the Jackson Five before embarking on a solo career.

His 1982 album Thriller - which included the hits Beat It, Billie Jean and Thriller - is still the best-selling album of all time, with more than 26?million copies sold. His lifetime sales tally is estimated at 750?million.

In 1994, he married Lisa Marie Presley, the 26-year-old daughter of Elvis Presley. The couple separated two years later and Jackson later married Debbie Rowe, a 37-year-old nurse he met while undergoing plastic surgery in 1997. They had two children, Prince Michael and Paris Michael Katherine, before divorcing in 1999.

Jackson had custody of the two children and of a third, Prince Michael II, whose mother's name has never been made public.

kutu buku

hey freaks. been a loooooonnggggg time since i last blogged. i know, you all missed me? kan? kan? :D

so, Me, Fatin and Zkay started this hey-can-i-borrow-your-book-kinda-thing. it was small at first cause i liked to borrow Fatin's books and ask Zkay book-ish stuffs from the library (which is like her second crib). then some of our other classmates joined our club like Syasya, Anisah and Riza. soon before any of us knew what was happening, it became a book club. yes of course, i thought of it :p

hehe. some of the books i got to borrow and read were

and i am yet to read this one

my book Amazing Grace by Megan Shull is definitely a success in the crowd. hehe bangga :D

our little book club is regularly in motion everyday in class. and like any other book clubs, yes, we talk about the books we've read together and suggest any other good books that we own.

i know it sounds lame to some of you, but this book club is like a bonding thing you know. for me at least. were all different in so many ways but share the same passion for reading. and so i decided to name our book club.

hmm. 4T.

Top Book Club? nah

Testosterone Book Club?

Tantalizing Book Club?

TingTing Book Club?

Telophase Book Club?

after i weighed my options, i decided to call it something really simple. kinda cliche but what the heck.

thus, The Book Club was born.

girls, i want to try and read some Judi Picoult and Jane Austen books. LETS GO HUNTING.

morning tide

hello hello. what a surprise. me? blogging again? shocking :o

well actually, ive been away lately due to super tiring band rehearsals, mountain piles of homeworks and not forgetting chores. but now, scratch them all!! (minus the homework part though) cause the competition is over and

ZOMG
my maid is back!

:D :D :D :D

it has been an interesting year so far. and TWO trips in one year! first to Penang and then Kuantan. and theyre absolutely free.

ahh... life is good.

i just got back from Kuantan yesterday. it was okay-ish. not as fun as going to Penang but i got to see a lot of handsome guys though. mmm. hahaha

I let out a deep breath and got up on stage. After i set foot on stage, i immediately led myself to the timpani and set up my scores.
"Haa aku dah kata dia percussionist,"
What. The. Hell?
I shook my head and try to forget what i just heard. So, i went over to the drumset and picked up the suspended cymbals and bring them over near me.
"Fuuuhhhh," "Wooaaaahhh,"
SHUT UP! SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP! That dude behind the stage is making me nuts. He's ruining my concentration. What a waste of meditation.

fine. maybe i dont look like a percussionist. bak kata Anisah, muka macam budak woodwind. riiiiggghttt..... but still, i hate it when people take me for a sissy (gee i dont know the word). do i look like a girly girl to you mister???

i might be decent looking and very kind to you, but dont take me for granted jerks.

birthday present

a tribute to you and our everlasting friendship. its going to be a series.
aiseyh..

I was new. It was a new world. New environment, new fragrances, new faces, and it all made me feel so tiny. I caught a glimpse of a stranger. An alien. A weird one indeed. Yet so interesting. I was filled with curiosity and very amused. i had a gigantic urge to go and try to communicate with her, study from head to toe, touch her ponytails - my god, her hair is thick. Wait, was she cutting her nails with scissors?
Thats odd.

Gasp. She made eye contact.

I quickly turned front and try to concentrate on the teaching which was currently in motion.

i know. i'm not the most brilliant writer, but i write how i see things. say them. i dont tend to write so dramatically when in real life i'm not that person.

i hope you appreciate this. theres gonna be another episode insyaAllah mmkay. patience young padawan. HAHA. (only Star Wars enthusiasts get me)

today's thank you's goes to. . . . .

*drumroll*

Ikhwan Adilin Wahab & Iylia Wahab
for sending me back home.
Puan Gan
for teaching add maths aggressively.
Percussion Section
for coming to every practice. you guys obviously rock.
Salimatulhana Saeidah Maher
for being there for 9 years and counting.
Fathiah Huda
for accompanying me to lunch.
Aliah Amira
for allowing me to look in her add maths book. he he.

and not forgetting

Allah Almighty
for the air i breathe, the rezeki i get, and the loved ones surrounding me. thank you.

and those are the thank you recipients for today :D

when seremban meets kl

i just got home from Seremban yesterday. BY HOLY-F*CKING-BUS. like holy crap. ha ha.

anyways,

my stay in Seremban was. . . . calming. yes :D
to those who are in search of a retirement home, i suggest Lavender Heights may be the idyllic place to find peace, quiet and tranquility.

we stayed at home. most of the time all of the time. yeah, theres hardly anything to do there. except jogging i guess. but nahh i didnt go jogging either. instead i sat on Rye's roof and enjoyed the panoramic view. priceless :)
i was accompanied by the slow cool breeze, warm hugging sunlight and verdant greeneries. the lot beside her house was empty. the tall grasses appeared like sawah you know. so jyeah, ada rasa kampung tu.

one particular thing i like about Seremban; its traffic.
no massive pile-ups like the ones we have in Ampang! ZOMG. but the drivers there, stupid la i tell you.

one particular thing i hate about Seremban; its people.
yeah sure i have no right to make stories or spread false rumors about them. but some stories are true.

" these people here belagak you know. they think they have drivers and whatsoever theyre big rich people. its like they own the world! "
" these people are staring at you as if you were an alien. "
Aunty Sarah and Uncle Lee told me some cold, harsh but true facts.
and i did felt like an alien T_T

regardless, i'm glad i live here in KL! wakakaka.

thanks for the accommodation Rye. i wuv vu :3

here are some pictures from CBN's 110th Birthday Celebration.
um well, this was after :D

just some of our rocking jump pictures. and these arent even half of em :D

fly like paper

get high like planes. . .

as i was walking towards the loo to get my wudhu, i caught a glimpse of my dad in his room. dancing to his javanese tune. shirtless.

erk.

his tummy is an unflattering sight to see.
regardless, i'm glad that he's a happy man.

i know right, you must be wandering have i gone mental or not?

well as i was getting ready to pray, i kept reminiscing about what i saw earlier. dad dancing while no one was staring. it gave me the impression that he's feeling good and upbeat today.

the bigger impact it had on me was, all the little things in life, the things we hardly see, the small gestures performed by the ones surrounding us, theyre all gifts.

i see that now. and it made me appreciate life a wee bit more :)

yeah sure you guys might think that this is a stupid post about me getting an epiphany on life's meaning or something, but hey! it was a slapper.

life. we shall all ponder.
